Although in English it’s called "concealer" and refers to both Romanian terms "anticearcan" (under-eye concealer) and "corector" (blemish corrector), in Romanian these two are quite different. The anticearcan is used for the under-eye area, specifically for dark circles, while the corector is used to cover imperfections such as acne, acne scars, irritated areas, etc. At least, that’s the distinction I make when I hear either term.
1. Oriflame Beauty Absolute Concealer for Eyes
Description on the Oriflame website: Ideal for the delicate eye area! The dual-action under-eye concealer contains Eyeliss, a plant extract complex that reduces puffiness, and eyebright extract, which helps diminish the appearance of dark circles. Contains 68% water for a refreshing effect.
My opinion: It only gives a golden tint (I have it in the Gold shade) and that’s about it; it doesn’t cover very well. It doesn’t crease because it’s very watery — it’s about 70% water — and that’s all. I really regret that my camera broke, because some photos would’ve said more than my rambling. Honestly, I don’t know what else to say — I wouldn’t recommend it for people with noticeable dark circles. It’s probably perfect for those who don’t have such issues and just want a bit of brightness under the eyes.
2. Collection 2000 Light Diffusing Concealer
Website description: The perfect quick fix! Highlights, conceals, and illuminates. Contains light-diffusing particles for a gorgeous, flawless, long-lasting finish.
My opinion: A good one — I like it because it provides both coverage and radiance; it looks lovely. I ordered it from Andrada’s website and I’m very happy with it. It can’t even be compared to the one from Oriflame.
3. SOS Anticernes Biguine Advance
Also a good under-eye concealer, quite thick, offers good coverage. However, if you apply powder over it, it looks bad — it emphasizes wrinkles and makes the area look aged. But used without powder, it gives a pleasant appearance.
